Conor John Williams
August 17th, 2007 - August 27th, 2025
Conor John Williams, age 18 of Lexington, Ky., departed this life on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. He was born on August 17, 2007 in Lexington, Ky. to Chris and Lee Ann (Wheeldon) Williams.
Conor was a 2025 high school graduate of The Stables through the Fayette County Public Schools. Conor worked at Spy Coast Farm as a maintenance intern in the equine industry from September 2024 until January 2025.
Conor was a deep thinker, who enjoyed long conversations on various topics. He could retain and recite information with an intelligent mind. Conor loved spending time with his dad. He had a strong curiosity on different occurrences in the world around him. He enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend RJ. He also enjoyed listening to music, taking long walks, scary movies, amusement parks, haunted houses, eating at Chic-fil-A, traveling to various places in Michigan (especially Frankenmuth, Michigan), animals, smoothies, and collecting knives.
Conor had a unique ability to see the unseen-those often overlooked by the world. He was a young man who not only noticed but acted. On his treasured walks, he carried extra bottles of water and Powerade to share with people in need he met along the way. He knew many of them by name, listened to their stories, and encouraged them in their struggles. Even in his darkest moments, he thought of others first.
Conor was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Cliff Williams; maternal great grandparents Leonard and Kathryn Harmon; paternal great grandparents Francis and Margaret Williams; maternal great grandparents Vernon Deaton and Alberta Price; and paternal great grandparents Barbee and Clara Wheeldon.
Conor was survived by parents, his older sister Clara Margaret Williams, his paternal grandmother Reva (Harmon) Williams; his maternal grand parents William “June Bug” and Brenda (Deaton) Wheeldon; his aunts Lisa Williams Thomas, Jill (and Eric) Mitchell, and Susan (and Steve) Cornelius; his cousin Josh (and Emmy) Thomas, and several special friends and relatives.
