David George Johnson, 76, of Golden, Colorado was born on 10.3.1948 at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He passed on 8.24.2025 at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. David was the son of Charles Floyd Johnson (passed) and Jeanette Z. Johnson (passed). He was the husband of Donna Johnson (passed), and the father to Scott R. Johnson and Derek M. Johnson. He was the grandfather to Nathan Johnson (Derek) and Rex Johnson (Scott). He graduated from Golden High School, and he spent much of his life working for the family-owned Coors Brewery in many roles over more than 35 years. He was a very active member of the Golden Church of Christ, and he was passionate about the Golden Community. His greatest joy was anything and everything that his two grandsons did. His ashes will be interred with Donna at the Arvada Cemetery. A service will be held for David on Saturday, September 6th at 11:00am at the Golden church of Christ located at 1100 Ulysses St, Golden, Colorado.
