Curtis "Curt" Eugene Raffield

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Curtis Eugene Raffield, 65, of Belleview, Florida on August 27, 2025   Curt was one of a kind - dependable, honest, and hardworking. He was the proud owner of Curt’s Appliance Service and worked in appliance repair for more than 40 years. He always put people before profit. If you knew Curt, you knew how hard it was to get him to accept payment for helping you out.   He was happiest at the beach, riding his motorcycle, boating, or sitting on the front porch Friday nights surrounded by loved ones. His grandsons were his pride and joy, and he rarely missed any of their games. Curtis also shared a lifelong love for watching wrestling.   Curtis is deeply missed by his daughter Brittany Crook (Robert); his four grandsons, Malik, Noah, Ty and Ryan; his sister Vickie Gist; his sister-in-law BJ Raffield; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; lifelong friends Bob Jett and Big Larry Holly; and his loyal German Shepherd, Zeke.   He is reunited in heaven with his daughter Jessica Paige Raffield; his parents, Robert and Jessie Raffield; his brother Bobby "BR549" Raffield, his brother-in-law, John "Popeye" Gist; and two close friends, Joe Meyers and Rick Roberts.   Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 2nd from 5-7 p.m at Hiers-Baxley Funeral home in Belleview, FL.   Committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd from 1pm-115pm at Belleview Cemetery in Belleview, FL.    Pastor Dana Lovely of Sonshine Ministries will officiate, with Pallbearers Robert Crook, Malik Crook, Noah Wilkerson, Rick Rasnick,  Dave Rasnick, and Bob Jett.
