Magally Caridad Garcia

Magally Caridad Garcia, 79, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully to be with her late Husband of 32 years on August 26, 2025. She was born on September 6, 1945, in Camagüey, Cuba, and later made Melbourne her home, where she lived most of her life.

Magally was a devoted mother to her surviving son David Garcia (Wife Lindsey) of Rockledge, FL, and her daughter Elena Slay (Husband Jeremy) of Pensacola, FL. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and great-grandmother to two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her loving sisters and brother, Alice Garcia of Melbourne, Matilda Miller (Dwight) of Palm Bay, and her brother, Pastor Sergio Reyes (Tina) Melbourne.

A faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church for more than 46 years, Magally served as a Sunday School teacher and was passionate about sharing her faith and discipling others. She found joy in spending time with her family and never passed up an opportunity to enjoy a good movie.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church in memory of Magally, honoring her lifelong devotion to her faith community.

Magally will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her deep love for her family, and her warm and caring spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her — a light in the darkness, a source of strength, and a smile during her children’s most trying hours. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her legacy will continue to guide those she loved for generations to come.
