Laura Christine (Steele) Stenzel, born October 25, 1970 to Darwin Walter Steele and Elsie Marie (Grinstead) Czenkusch, got her wings on August 25, 2025 after a courageous battle with a neurodegenerative disease.

She faced her illness with incredible strength, grace, and a wicked sense of humor, serving as an inspiration to all who met her. Her unwavering spirit in the face of adversity was a testament to her beautiful character.

She met her husband, Doug Stenzel, at Loveland High School but it took them 18 years to realize that they were truly soulmates.

She is survived by her husband, her parents, her father and mother-in-law, Dick and Betty Stenzel, her step-sisters - Caroline, Michelle, Stephanie, and Kimberly and sister-in-law Carrie. 

She was predeceased by her brother, Jay, brother-in-law, Matt, her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
