Anna Maria Kempf

Anna Maria Kempf was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon on July 19th, 1939. Her parents were Fred and Katie Eck.

Our fabulous Anna was a "super" Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandparent! Goodness and kindness were evident in all aspects of her life. Everyone she had contact with loved her. In our community, Anna served on many committees and helped with many projects. She was active with PTA, Music Guild, Mannah Club, Lady Elks, election voting, and church functions. Above all, her desire for everyone to succeed was unmatched. Because of her, all members of the family have been prosperous and happy. The word average wasn't in her nature. Anna moved to Mesa with her husband in 1965. Immediately, many new friends were met. She worked for Mesa Public Schools until retiring in 1991. After that, she devoted her time to family, friends, church, and community. One very great quality that Anna possessed was not finding fault with anyone regardless of how she was treated. Advice given was "Just smile and kill them with kindness".  Anna was a very fun-loving individual. Other peoples' happiness made her happy too. Always extra effort was given for this purpose. Holidays delighted her as she decorated and dressed for the occasion. Christmas was the greatest time of the year, she thought. Anna Maria Kempf will be missed by all for her loving and caring demeanor. She was deeply loved!   Services will be held at St. Bridget Catholic Church on 2213 N Lindsay Rd, Mesa, AZ 85213 on Tuesday, September 9th at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held at Acoya Mesa, 6502 E Brown Rd, Mesa, AZ 85205 from 2-4 PM on September 30th in the life center room.
