Barbara Ellen Paul

Barbara Paul, 75, of Pelion, SC, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2025.

She was born on November 17, 1949, in Los Angeles, California, to Don and Libby Paul. Throughout her life, she carried a deep love for the natural world, finding joy in gardening, the outdoors, and the simple beauty of everyday life. She followed her own spiritual path with grace, wisdom, and reverence, embracing traditions that honored the earth and its rhythms.

She deeply loved her family and extended that love to many others she welcomed into her life as family. Her kindness, generosity, and open heart touched not only her children and grandchildren, but also countless others who were forever changed by her support and care.

She is survived by her loving husband, John David Kaba; her children, Jason Cash Savage and Jodi Leigh Savage; her brother, Dennis Mitchell Paul; and her beloved grandchildren, Alexis, Anastasia, Jessica, Austin, Tia, Ramey, and Joshua. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Libby Paul.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, her gentle spirit, and her ability to find beauty and joy in the world around her.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in her honor to your favorite charitable canine or equine organization.
