Heather Anne Michaela Greene, 23, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday September 1, 2025 at home.

Heather was born in August of 2002. She is the beloved daughter of Paul and Rebecca Greene. Being the first daughter following three brothers made her entrance even more special; she was highly anticipated! Heather spent her life surrounded by her family at all times, and she had the best brothers and sisters a girl could get. She is survived by three brothers, Alexander, Jesse, and Christopher; and her five sisters, Deanna, Emily, Hannah, Kaitlyn, and Sofia. Every single one of them dedicated their lives to loving Heather fiercely.

Heather loved music, especially when her sister Hannah played guitar for her. She loved movies, cartoons, magazines, being read to, and snuggled. She loved being outside, going to the beach, and feeling her toes in the sand. She loved lights. She had various types of lamps and galaxy projectors over the years. She loved Christmas lights, and just being present with family around those. She loved parties and family gatherings; especially holiday meals where everyone was home with her to experience so many varying types of food. Heather adored Doritos, chocolate, and pastries. She had a huge sweet tooth, especially for cake! You had better be fast if you placed a cake in front of her, or she was going to take her own chunk of it any way she could!

In addition to her immediate family, Heather is survived by her grandmothers, Rosemarie Owens and Sue Pfeiffer. She has many aunts and uncles, and lots of cousins. Heather has one perfect niece named Elloise. We believe Heather loved Elloise the moment she met her. She smiled and radiated such joy when Elloise would touch Heather's hair or face. In addition, Heather had so many great people who loved her, including Shiny Padgett, her teacher Brynn Simons, and Dino Altamirano. We were all blessed by the people who came alongside our little warrior Heather as she battled through this life with grace, joy, and light. Heather has eternally altered all who have genuinely discovered her.

Heather is preceded in death by her Grandpa Roger, Papa Bill, and her great grandmother Bessie Lee Lunsford.
