Roy Luis Serrano, 88 years old of Chandler, AZ passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025 in Chandler, AZ surrounded by loved ones.
Roy was born on January 12, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA to parents Jesus and Leonilla Serrano. He attended John Marshal High School in Los Angeles, CA and pursued a career as an entrepreneur as owner/manager of a couple of nightclubs, gas station and real estate. In his younger days Roy enjoyed riding and racing motorcycles, boating/water skiing and later, restoring classic cars; especially his 1948 Ford sedan and his 1950 Ford pickup.
Roy is survived by his devoted, loving and beautiful wife Norma, his sisters Abigail and Ruth, numerous nieces and nephews, two stepchildren Albert and Stephanie and several grandkids.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Legacy Funeral Home, 1374 N. Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225. Family and friends are welcome to honor and celebrate Roy’s life.
A reception at the Serrano home, 1440 N. Desoto St, Chandler, AZ will follow the memorial service.
