Beers and Story - Palmer
Ryan Noga Windyka
April 29th, 1985 - September 3rd, 2025
Palmer – Ryan Noga Windyka, 40, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and a heart devoted to helping others. Born on April 29, 1985 in Springfield, MA, Ryan was the beloved son of Stephen and Cynthia (Noga) Windyka, who cherished him deeply. A proud graduate of Palmer High School’s Class of 2003, Ryan pursued his passion for making a difference—earning his associate degree from Holyoke Community College and later a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science from Westfield State University. His quick wit and warm humor brought joy to those around him, and his compassion touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ryan’s heart belonged to the Scantic Valley YMCA in Wilbraham, where he devoted over 20 years of his life. More than just a workplace, it became a cherished second home—a place where he shared his warmth, dedication, and found a second family. Most recently he was employed as a Membership Director.
An avid sports fan, Ryan enjoyed cheering on the Lakers and Vikings and loved spending time on the golf course. He found joy in life’s simple comforts—especially cold weather and making soup. Most of all, he cherished moments with his family. Known for his loving sarcasm, Ryan had a playful spirit and was truly a child at heart. He brought laughter wherever he went and had an unwavering desire to help others, always ready to lend a hand or brighten someone’s day.
Ryan was preceded in death by his aunt, Sandra (Noga) Nichols. He will be missed always and forever by his parents, Stephen and Cynthia Windyka; his brother Chad Windyka and wife Stephanie of Palmer, along with their daughters Emmersyn and Hadleigh; his brother Eric Windyka and wife Christie of Easthampton, along with their children Hanna and Ethan; as well as by his extended family and many dear friends who loved him.
Ryan touched many lives, and all who wish to pay their respects are warmly invited to join the family in celebrating his life and legacy on Friday, September 19th, between 3–7pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.
Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ryan's memory can be made to the Scantic Valley YMCA, 45 Post Office Park, Wilbraham, MA 01095.
