In Loving Memory
Kathleen "Kat" Bolin, STONEVILLE, 89 - gained her wings on Thursday, September 4th in her home surrounded by family and friends.
Kat was born on December 3, 1935, in Athens, Alabama to the late Bonnie Franklin Webb and Bertha Webb.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her beloved husband of 52 years, James Ross Bolin, who passed October 23, 2007. She is also preceded in passing by her brother, J.B. Webb, and her dog, Roxie.
Kat loved listening to Gospel and Bluegrass music. She enjoyed cooking for her family as a homemaker, especially her beloved banana pudding. Kat was a member of Sheldon Road Baptist Church for over 40 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Tony Darrell Bolin (wife Cindy) and James Randy Bolin; daughter, Teresa Junene Hodge (husband Roger); 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many church family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 10th from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Service - Lambeth Chapel, 300 West Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC with a funeral service at 1:00PM in the Chapel with Pastor Rick Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00PM in Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 O.Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC.
I lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made directly to Sheldon Road Baptist Church, 2008 Sheldon Road, Greensboro, NC 27405.
