Joseph Tocco, 86, of Nokomis, Florida passed away at home on August 28, 2025. Born on February 3,1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph & Dorothy (Mezzapelle) Tocco. Married for 47 years to his beloved wife Shirley.  Together they shared a commitment to family, friends and their business Gulf Shores Resort on Casey Key.  Children Joseph (Deborah) Tocco, Thomas (Dianne) Tocco, Kelly (Tocco) Bolda (Robert deceased), Holly Tocco (Michele Gillispie), Anthony Tocco and Barry Janowiecki. 8 grandchildren, Rachelle, Michael, Tyler, Chloe, Trey, Chad, Meranda, Ryleah and 3 great grandchildren. His commitment and work ethic left an indelible mark, earning him respect and admiration amongst all his guest at the resort.  Beyond his professional life Joe was an avid golfer, skier, fisherman and traveler. He will forever be missed and never forgotten as he will live through all of us daily, until we meet again. 

Visitation will be held September 9th from 5-7pm at Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida. Funeral mass will be held September 10th at 10:00 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice, FL.  Immediately following the mass we will precede to Venice Memorial Gardens for his final resting place.
