December 25th, 1953 - September 4th, 2025
Robert DiVito, 71 of Cleveland, Ohio, was called to heaven September 4, 2025. Treasured husband of Georgeann (nee Fejes), devoted father of Daniel and Elisabeth (Jonathon Matthews), brother, uncle, son and friend. Graduate of St. Ignatius High School and Baldwin Wallace College. Bob was a navy veteran, manager of his Wednesday Bocce league, and trivia aficionado. He enjoyed golf, sailing, and great music. After retiring from a career in nuclear and hydraulic engineering, he volunteered at Sixteen Hands Horse Sanctuary, the Peace River Wildlife and Venice Art Centers. His laughter and light will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 16 from 9:15-10:15 am at Farley Funeral Home 265 S. Nokomis Ave, Venice. Catholic Mass will follow at 11:00 at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1301 Center Rd, Venice.
