Raymond Theodore Stong
August 3rd, 1947 - September 5th, 2025
Raymond Theodore Strong, born on August 3, 1947, to Carl and Viola Strong in Belle Fourche, South Dakota, passed away peacefully at his home on September 5, 2025, with his wife by his side. He has one sister Emily.
He is survived by his wife Debra of 35 years. Two children Jacque Hunter and R.C. Strong; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.
He learned how to drive a semi from his stepdad, Leo Backhaus, hauling cattle. He moved to Colorado in 1975 and drove trucks as a U.S. mail contractor for 20 years. Then, hauled liquid fertilizer for 10 years before retiring. He enjoyed his motorhome, going fishing at different fishing holes.
He will be missed dearly.
