Francisco Negron
August 15th, 1946 - September 5th, 2025
Francisco Negron, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on August 15, 1946, in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, to Artemio and Medalda Negron.
Francisco is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Mary Negron, his children Arlene Long Laracuente, Doreen Santiago, Richard Matias, Charles Matias, Robert Matias, Francisco Javier Negron, and Maritza Delgado Negron, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren including his cherished granddaughters Christina Porto and Jackie Ruiz Cotto.
He is also remembered by his 11 loving siblings: Hector Negron, Angel Negron, Carmen A. Negron, Maria C. Negron, Maria G. Negron, Carmen M. Negron, Sylvia Negron, Jose Negron, Paula Mercado Negron, Eddie Negron, and is reunited in peace with his late sister Ana E. Negron.
Francisco was a man who deeply loved his family, his home, and even his dogs, Nickey and Princess. Known for his humor, his love of cooking, and his passion for baseball—both as a player in his younger years and a lifelong fan—he brought joy and laughter wherever he went.
A private gathering will be held of friends and family prior to cremation.
Francisco’s warmth, laughter, and love will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
