It is with a heavy yet grateful heart that we announce the passing of Edgar Francisco Xoy, who departed this world on September 6, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. Edgar was born on January 11, 1944, in Guatemala, where he began a life characterized by love, loyalty, and an enduring dedication to his family. Edgar's life was a tapestry woven with kindness and compassion. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Silvina Chang Xoy, and a cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His legacy continues through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as his siblings and extended family, all of whom will miss him dearly. Throughout his years, Edgar demonstrated exceptional qualities that inspired all who had the honor to know him. His considerate nature and unwavering loyalty to those he loved defined him as a man of integrity and warmth. He embraced life’s challenges with dignity and grace, leaving an imprint of positivity that resonated with his loved ones and community alike. Edgar's passion for life and commitment to family were evident in every interaction he shared. He had a unique ability to uplift others, making every gathering feel special with his infectious smile and gentle spirit.

A visitation and Prayer of the Rosary will take place on Friday, September 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM, both at Romero Funeral ~ Chapel of Repose. Edgar will be laid to rest at Olinger Hampden Memorial in Denver, Colorado, with the burial to follow at 1:00 PM. As we bid farewell to Edgar, we celebrate a life well-lived and a heart that loved deeply. His influence will remain in the hearts of many, reminding us all to embrace each day with love, compassion, and unwavering loyalty. May he rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire others to live with purpose and gratitude.
