Julana Christine McClellan

Julana Christine Croy McClellan age 74, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2025. Julana was born to Samual II and Mary Croy on July 14, 1951. Julana graduated from ETSU with a master’s degree in library science and went on to work as a librarian for ETSU at Allandale. She was an avid student attending all of Kay Author’s Bible classes as well as many other Bible studies in the Kingsport area. Julana was a devout Christian and there was never any question about her faith to the Lord.  She was a member of Gardner’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church and attended Grace Christian Church and Salem Methodist Church. Julana had many friends but was especially close to Jennie and Martha.

In addition to her parents Julana is preceded in death by her husband Gary McClellan.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother Howard Croy and wife Brenda Croy; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm on Friday, September 12th at Grace Christian Church in Kingsport, TN with a funeral service to at 2 pm with Dr. J. Edward Clevinger officiating. A graveside service will follow at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, VA pallbearers will be family and friends.
