Donald "Don" Patrick Christman
June 8th, 1959 - September 3rd, 2025
Donald Patrick Christman, 66, sadly left us too soon on September 3, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Don was born on June 8, 1959, in Towanda, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert L. Christman and Rose Marie Schaad.
Don was a proud retired veteran, having served 20 years in the United States Navy as an avionics technician from 1980 to 2000. Following his retirement from active duty, he pursued a career as a technical instructor for another 20 years, working with United Space Alliance, Gulfstream, and Boeing. Throughout his career, he touched the lives of many students and earned the respect and admiration of his peers.
Beyond his career, Don was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Raquel Christman; his son, Joshua Christman; and his daughter, Natasha Christman, and her husband, Dan Leaphart. He is also survived by his sisters, Katherine Christman and Rose Coolbaugh; his twin brother, David Christman; and many nieces and nephews in Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania and the Philippines. He found a special joy in being a "chihuahua dad" to the family's almost 18-year-old long-haired chihuahua, Tila.
Don will be remembered by all who knew him for his jovial spirit, sense of humor, and willingness to help others. He will be incredibly missed.
A viewing will be held Monday, September 15th, from 5-7 p.m. at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Rockledge, FL. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, September 17th, from 1-2 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rockledge, FL. Burial will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
