Marjorie Eileen was born on October 5, 1934, in East Chicago, Indiana to Louis and Violet Komanich. She joined siblings Valerie and James. They became the parents of 8 children. Eventually Ed and Marge moved their young family to Loveland, Colorado where they farmed and owned / operated a family dairy farm until the late 1980s’ when Ed retired due to declining health. Ed proceeded Marge in death on August 27, 1992. Marge never remarried. Marge loved the home her husband built her and continued to live and thrive in it for over 35 more years, raising chickens, gardening and celebrating many happy and memorable occasions with her children and grandchildren. Marge was an avid quilter, joining a group with her eldest daughter and five lovely ladies that she cherished her friendship with until her health declined.
Marge passed on September 1, 2025, at the Loveland, CO home of one of her daughters. Rosary and Mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic church in Loveland, Co on Thursday, September 11, followed by internment in Loveland Burial Park.
Marge will be remembered for her deep faith, unfailing appreciation and gratitude for all things, quick wit and dedication to her family. She will be so sadly missed forever.
