Cheryl Kinningham Hill

Cheryl Kinningham Hill, 77, wife of Bill Hill, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on November 22, 1947 to the late Reed Kinningham and Genevive Young Kohler. Cheryl was a Librarian with the Woodford County School System and a member of St Leo Catholic Church. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Michele Hill, WI and Andrea Whitenack (Clay), Harrodsburg; her siblings, Lynette Fiqueroa, CA, Shayrn Smith, HA, Russell Kinningham, HA, Kevin Kinningham, HA, and Bryan Kinningham, HA; and her grandchildren, Lauren Liebman, Luke Whitenack, and Anne Whitenack.  

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at St Leo Catholic Church with Father Chris Clay officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Gene Kirk, Allen Covington, Luke Whitenack, Clay Whitenack, Stephen Barnett, Steve Farley, and Norman Morton. Visitation will be held from 9:30am until the time of service on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at St Leo Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to Andrea Whitenack for the Lantern, Farmers National Bank, 776 S College St., Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
