Jamie Christina Vigil

Jamie Christina Vigil, beloved wife, daughter, sister, mother, stepmother, aunt, and grandmother, passed away on September 4, 2025, in Lakewood, Colorado.  

Born to Patricia Ann Peck and Gregory Lowell Peck, Jamie was a devoted family woman whose love and compassion touched everyone around her. She was the cherished sister of Lisa Ann Frahm and the loving wife of Chris Benavidez Vigil, with whom she shared six years of marriage.  

Jamie was the proud mother of Dominique Christina Gallegos, Nathan Paul Gregory Garcia, and Jade Anna Garcia; stepmother to Lillianna Veronica Vigil and Chris Anthony Vigil; and grandmother to Elijah Joshua Garcia Cordova, Avianna Helene Gallegos, Silas Paul Gallegos, and Demas Gregory Gallegos. She was also a caring aunt to Riley and Taylor Frahm.  

A gifted athlete in her youth, Jamie attended Weber Elementary, Moore Middle School, and Pomona High School. She earned recognition as an all-state swimmer and was known for her exceptional work ethic throughout her life.  

Jamie found joy in many things—competitive swimming, hairstyling and makeup artistry, decorating for holidays, filling her home with comforting scents of candles and lotions, and enjoying good food. She especially loved watching funny videos and scary movies. Above all else, she treasured time spent with her family.  

Her kindness was boundless; her spirit both gentle and strong. Jamie gave freely of herself without expectation, always putting others before her own needs. Her warmth and generosity will remain etched in the hearts of those who knew her.  

Though no longer with us in body, Jamie is now at peace in the Kingdom of her Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ. May her memory bring comfort to all who loved her. A Memorial Gathering will be held on September 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Westminster City Park Recreation Center 10455 Sheridan Boulevard
