Ralph “John” Millard Johnston Jr, of Morrison, CO, 81, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed September 5, 2025, at Sky Ridge Hospital (Lone Tree, CO).

 

He was born December 10, 1943 in Sidney, Ohio to Ralph and Gladys (Patton) Johnston. He founded Johnston Dental Ceramics in Denver, CO in 1970. He was well known by dentists and dental laboratory technicians for advancing the field for decades and was an influential speaker at numerous industry events.

 

He was a talented and avid golfer, a passionate fisherman, especially at Lake Powell, Utah. John was a proud Navy veteran who served our country at Pearl Harbor, HI.

 

He will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery on September 25, 2025, at 10 am.

 

John is survived by his wife, Patricia (Gierhart) Johnston of Port Jefferson, Ohio; son Chad and his wife Heather Johnston of Mancos, CO; son Jeremy Johnston of Centennial, CO; daughter Aspen (Johnston) Figi and her husband Matt Figi of Conifer, CO; and grandchildren Nick and Carson Hilbelink of Conifer, CO.
