Rudy C Hinojos

Rudy C. Hinojos, 64, of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully on September 05, 2025. He was born on February 28, 1961 in Artesia, NM. He was a devoted husband to Elva Hinojos and a loving father to his two sons Randy Hinojos, Richard (Michael) Hinojos and his only daughter Sonia Sanchez.

Rudy was hard-working and dedicated. He spent 30 years working as a Master Mechanic where he was known for being able to troubleshoot and fix issues that no one else could. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.

He was a simple man with such integrity, kindness, generosity, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Rudy’s hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and sharing his passions with anyone who was interested in learning. His willingness to help in any way was something he shared with his children, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.

He is survived by his wife Elva Hinojos, his children Randy Hinojos (Andrea), Sonia Sanchez (Gino) & Richard Michael “G” Hinojos, grandchildren Alyssa, Francisco, Kassandra, Daijiah, Josiah, Alejandro, Katalina, Gino Andres and Great-Grandson Landon, siblings Viviana Alfaro, Maria Jimenez, Mariano (Jr.) Hinojos, Anthony Cortez, Adelita Cortez as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

A Visitation and Rosary will be held on Sunday September 14, 2025 at Brings Funeral Home, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd. Tucson, AZ 85710, from 1:00-4:00pm. Mass and Funeral service will be held on Monday September 15, 2025 at 10:00am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo Tucson, AZ 85715.

We find comfort in knowing that Rudy's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
