Harriett Faye Wilkens passed away on August 31, 2025, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 89.     Born on August 25, 1936, in Greenleaf, Kansas, to Lisette (Lillie) Von Lehe and Fredrick Henry Theodore Stolp. Harriett lived a life marked by quiet strength and enduring faith. As the wife of a pastor for many years, she was deeply involved in her community and church. She dedicated herself to teaching both elementary and Sunday school, nurturing young minds with patience and care.

 Harriett was also a gifted singer with a special love for jazz music. Her gentle demeanor was complemented by a delighted sense of humor that brought warmth to those around her. In her leisure time, she found joy in knitting, quilting, embroidering, and reading novels—pastimes that reflected her creativity and thoughtful nature.   She is survived by her son, Paul Wilkens; and two grandsons, Augie Wilkens and Morgan Hoyt. She was preceded in death by her son John Wilkens as well as her brothers and sisters.  

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 20 at Green Mountain cemetery.
