Mr. Joseph "Danny" Daniel Goode, 74, of Winston-Salem passed away on September 12, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. Born in Belews Creek, North Carolina, he was the son of the late William and Nancy Jane "Nannie" (Rominger) Goode and husband of the late Mildred Goode.
Danny was a veteran of the United States Army as part of the Troop of the 7th First Air Cavalry. He installed floor coverings for most of his life and made lifelong friends along the way. He loved listening to music, singing and playing the piano. He passionately loved his children, his grandchildren, and his many family and friends.
Danny is survived by his children, David, Brook, Theresa and Joe; his grandchildren, TJ, Mikayla, Brandon, Sara, Dava, Felicia, Tony, Joseph III "Trip", Lyla; his four great-grandchildren; and his sister, Janie Bowman.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Ron, and his eight brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends at Faith of God Ministries, 5545 Main St. Walkertown, NC 27051 on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 4:00PM-5:00PM. A celebration of Danny's life will follow beginning at 5:00PM.
