Peggy Ann Garrison

Garrison, Peggy Ann, 65, of Dunedin, Florida passed away peacefully at home September 8, 2025.

Born in Port Colborne, Canada moving to the Gulf Coast in 1968, eventually becoming a US Citizen. She attended High School in Pinellas Park, later graduating from Rhema Bible College.

She is preceded in death by her father Douglas Oates and nephew Douglas Cowling.  Peggy is survived by her mother Theresa Oates; siblings' Susan Cowling (Donald), Constance Harris (Lou), Brenda Reber (Brian), Hope Wheeler (Mark), and Tricia Troup; Nephews' Trey Harris and Christopher Bruce Cowling; Nieces' Amanda Hunt, Lauren Rios, and Emily Troup.  

Peggy was a passionate champion for various community charity organizations that outreached homelessness and animals relief. She enjoyed skydiving,  boating, fishing, music and quality time with her best friend Gary, her cat Sarah and family when time permitted. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend! She had an infectious smile and warm heart that never met a stranger.  

Peggy's celebration of life will be announced at a later time.  

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to local advocate human and animal shelter organizations.
