Billy Joe English

Billy Joe English, a resident of Perry, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, at the age of 67. A memorial visitation is planned for a later date, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and the joy he brought to so many. 

Born in Hawkinsville, Georgia, Billy was the beloved son of Bill E. English and Betty A. Bozeman English, both of whom preceded him in death. Billy was a proud alumnus of Northside High School in Warner Robins, where his passion for learning and dedication to excellence began. He further pursued his education, earning a Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University. With a keen intellect and unwavering commitment to his work, Billy dedicated his professional life to being a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base. His contributions to the community were significant and will be fondly remembered. 

Billy was known for his kindness and gentle manner. A devoted brother to Bennie English and his wife, Janna, he cherished his family and maintained a close relationship with them throughout his life. Billy’s warmth extended to his many nieces and nephews, who hold dear the memories created with their uncle.

While he kept much of his personal life private, those who knew Billy would agree on his exceptional character and the impact he made on those around him. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fellowshipping in the great outdoors. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness that resonates deeply in the hearts of his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to a charity of your choice in honor of Billy's legacy.
