Beers and Story - Belchertown
Anita C. Coulombe
April 17th, 1933 - September 12th, 2025
Anita C. (Roy) Coulombe, entered eternal rest on Sept. 12, 2025, at the age of 92, at home with her son Roy by her side. Born on April 17, 1933, in Chicopee, MA, she was the daughter of Leonard and Lillian (Rouillard) Roy.
Anita was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother and her legacy continues through her four sons: David Coulombe of W. Springfield, Guy Coulombe (Donna) of Chicopee, Roy Coulombe (Rita) of ME, and Marc Coulombe (Beth) of NC. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond N. Coulombe and her sister, Marie Longarini.
For many years, Anita worked as a machinist for Dielectric Company in Chicopee, a role that exemplified her dedication and strong work ethic. After spending most of her life in Chicopee, she made the move in 1977 to Belchertown, where she became one of the first residents at Pine Valley Plantation.
A devout Catholic, Anita was a communicant of St. Francis Church and an active member of the PV8 Chapter of the NAFCA. She found joy in many pursuits, including her love for camping and line dancing. However, her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and their families.
A calling hour will be held on Mon., Sept. 22, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. This will be followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Francis Church. Burial will be private, at the family's request.
