William "Bill" Earl Burdin
November 13th, 1943 - September 9th, 2025
Upon retiring from Boeing, he embraced his most cherished role—providing care for his grandchildren. This, he often said, was his favorite job of all.
Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy; his sons, Jared and Ken David Burdin; stepson, Jeff Brownfield; and stepdaughter, Rachel Brownfield. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Holtz; numerous nephews and a niece; his brother- and sisters-in-law; and his daughters- and son-in-law. Bill was a proud grandfather to five granddaughters and two grandsons.
Bill lived a life of service and adventure. He traveled the world, first during his 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, and then during another 20 years with The Boeing Company. Upon retiring from Boeing, he embraced his most cherished role—providing care for his grandchildren Sasha, Brooke, Sophie, and Isa. This, he often said, was his favorite job of all.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at Alderwood Manor Adult Family Home for their kindness and compassion, and to Jack Stavros for his enduring friendship.
At Bill’s request, there will be no service.
