The family of JoAnne Gayle Easterly is grateful for her beautiful life and the love she shared with so many. JoAnne, 82, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in Portland, Oregon, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Caldwell, Idaho, on December 2, 1942, JoAnne was the youngest child of Oral and Myrtle Allen. She married her high school sweetheart, Vincent “Vic” Easterly, in 1964, and together they raised two sons, Craig and Casey. JoAnne was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a dedicated mother, and later the director of the WINGS program at Treasure Valley Community College, where she inspired students to believe in themselves. She is survived by her brother, Rodger Allen; sons, Craig and Casey; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Caputo; and her cherished grandson, Cash. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell, with a reception at Indian Creek Restaurant.
