Henry Michael Alexander, 76, of Murrells Inlet, S.C. died on September 14, 2025.

He was born on October 27, 1948 in Charlotte, NC a son of the late Julian Wade Alexander and Hattie Louise Hucks Alexander. He married Sue Carol Cooper on December 31, 1971.

 

Mr. Alexander served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as an E4 Helicopter Gunner serving two tours in Vietnam.

 

A service in celebration of his life will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 18, 2025 in the chapel of Tribute & Tallent Funerals & Cremations with The Reverend Josh Bety, officiating. The family will receive friends from Noon -1:00 P. M. Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Tribute & Tallent Funerals & Cremations, 1937 N. Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sue Carol Cooper, Alexander; children, Tess Porter (James) of Charlotte and Mike Alexander, Jr. (Allison) of Indian Trail, NC

4 special grandchildren, Sierra Alexander, Alex Porter, Bradley Porter, and Landyn Alexander.
