Ashlirose Lanett Johnson, 24 years old of Phoenix, AZ passed on 09/07/2025. 

 

Ashlirose was born in St. Louis, MI on October 6th, 2000 to Nicole Johnson and Kenneth Jones which preceeded her in death. She attended school in St. Louis, MI and was a notably bright young lady, and earned the nickname "Mama Girl" by age 7 as she took charge and care of her siblings, keeping them in line. She was a beautiful artist that drew her own tattoos, pursued cosmetology and hairdressing, and was creative in all endeavours.

 

Ashlirose brought light to a room and was very witty, outgoing, and charismatic for everyone. She moved to Arizona in 2015 and grew to love Arizona despite being away from her family. She grew to become the amazing woman and mother she was through experiences here and brought happiness everywhere she went. 

 

Ashlirose's passing has left a deep impact because she always improved the life of those around her and spread the positivity she had within her.

 

Preceded in death by her father Kenneth Jones, her aunt Ramona, and her cousin Latosha. 

 

She leaves to cherish her mother Nicole Johnson, her pops Rodman Walker, her two beautiful daughters; Yameire Rose Lynn Johnson 6 years old, and Yulaina-Imeira Johnson 1 years old, her brothers Phillip Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, J-zonce Johnson and Rodman Jr., her sisters Zantrice Williams, Atre-sia Session, Heaven Jo-ney Johnson, Donye Williams, Kaylee Walker. She leaves her other mother Shannon Williams, Tazz Jones, and her second family Ms. J,Ms. J Morris and John Morris. Her special great-aunts Catherine Robinson, Valentina Johnson, and all of her cousins from St. Louis, a host of friends, and she will always be remembered with love. She was always loved, wanted, and definitely needed.

My Mona Lisa

You are priceless,

From day one,

The first time I held you in my arms,

I knew you were my Mona Lisa.

 

As you grew and got older,

Your smile was the smile 

that put smiles on other people's faces,

The twinkle in your eyes,

The sound of your voice,

Would make everyone want to stop and play,

And see my Mona Lisa smile.

 

Heaven couldn't wait 

and I really don't know why,

It just came and took that twinkle

out of my eye.

 

That hollow be of my heart,
