Elaine was born and raised in St. Louis Missouri. She was the Daughter of William and Mary Krebs. She was an extremely happy and positive person with a very caring and giving personality. All of her marvelous traits made her a perfect candidate for her chosen profession as a registered nurse. Her nursing career included work at The Boeing company and Blue Cross in Seattle. Elaine met and married the love of her life, Edward Zeine and the couple moved to Cordova Alaska in 1979. The two were a wonderful team as hospital administrator and clinic/surgical nurse, and they made a significant and positive impact. Elaine was an avid gardener who had love for colorful plants, flowers and trees. Her passion transmitted into a great talent for creating beauty. She also created a lot of beauty in the kitchen as she was a top notch cook and loved collecting and perfecting recipes. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Edward and her son Eric. She is survived by her children, Carolyn, Daniel, Michael, Scott, Bradley and Patrick as well as countless other relatives including grandchildren and great grandchildren and many very dear friends. Her beautiful soul will be deeply missed.
