Barbara Good, 73 years old, passed away on September 14 in Venice, Florida. She was born in Rockaway Beach, N.Y.
Barbara was passionate about travel, reading, mahjong, gardening, and crafting and participating in activities at her local library. She was especially dedicated to the charities of St. Jude’s and Toys for Tots. The latter of which she joyously spent the entire year purchasing 100s of toys to donate to Toys for Tots collected at The Francis T. Bourne and The Englewood Libraries.
Barbara was preceded in death by her son, Peter Pastorelli. She was also preceded by her father, Joseph Good; brothers Joseph J. Good Jr. and William Good; and brother-in-law Harry Barron.
Barbara is survived by her son, Gregory Pastorelli; beloved grandchildren Kitt and Ella Pastorelli; daughter-in-law Tora Peterson; siblings Karen Barron, Terry (Mike) Leykamm, Tommy (Lisa) Good, Christine (Eric) Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at later date to honor Barbara.
Contributions in her memory may be made to Toys for Tots, St. Jude’s and any public library of your choice.
Barbara will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
