William J. "Bill" Moylan Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025 at age 68. Bill was born May 18, 1957 in Riverhead, NY to the late William J. Moylan and Geraldine Thurlow Moylan.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Mary K. "Kathy" Moylan. Bill was the very proud father of three children, Lauren Sheldon, William A "Tony" (Olivia) Moylan, Jennifer (Michael) Tanner and three step children (though he very rarely used that term), Chuck (Meghann) Ainsworth, Michelle (Jacob) Zieg, and Emily Ainsworth. He was the cherished grandfather of Nathaniel, Paul, Zoey, Eli, Avery, Emerson, Annabelle, HayleySue, Chase, Finley, Hunter and Jackson. Bill is also survived by his brother Kevin Moylan and sister Margaret Moylan. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine S. Feola and grandson Brayden Zieg.

Bill graduated from William Floyd High in 1975, then completed his Bachelors of Science in Speech and Audiology Sciences from Perdue University in 1979 and his Master's degree from State University of New York at Fredonia in 1982. For 47 years Bill was genuinely dedicated to his career as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), impacting the lives of hundreds of children in classrooms, clinics and beyond. He loved helping families whether new to a diagnosis, navigating their school journey, or staying in touch long past their classroom days. Bill enjoyed mentoring new teachers, supervising graduate interns and lending a helping hand or listening ear wherever he was needed.

Bill was passionate about his Faith in God, his family and friends, his career, and making a difference with his life. He was an "all in" guy, getting involved with his church family wherever he lived. Most recently Bill loved being part of the Tech team at Seacoast Cane Bay. He also found time to be involved with the SC Civil Air Patrol for several years. Bill could be stubborn but had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around with everyone. At home, Bill could often be found behind a grill or smoker cooking for his family, watching a ball game (Go Giants!) or researching his next “tech” purchase or cruise vacation.

Even in his passing, Bill made a difference in the lives of others by becoming an organ donor, leaving this world a hero by giving the gift of life and healing to others.
