Brown Larry Richard Age 83, of Oakdale, MN Formerly of Mahtomedi, MN Larry was born in St Paul on 2/23/1942. He passed away on 9/12/25 at home and in the presence of his loved ones, as was his desire. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Maurice and Lorraine Brown, siblings Rodger, Donald, June, Violet, Franklin, Darlene and his granddaughter Alanna. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Arlita, after celebrating their 64th anniversary on August 5th of this year. His children, Phillip (Claudia Jo), Richard(Liz), Lynn(Janet), Joseph(Marsha), and Rob, grandchildren Eric, Nikki, Miranda, Nathan and great grandson Logan. As well as his siblings Beverly, Sandy, Carol, Sharon and Patricia. Larry will always be known for the skill and craftsmanship he displayed in his various woodworking and carpentry talents. In addition to all the custom cabinetry he built over the decades, he made furniture, prosthetics, and culminated his career with the final home he designed, built and enjoyed at 670 Griffin Court in Mahtomedi. If he wasn’t building or fixing things, he loved to be on the lake and casting a line with his friends and family. It is in these roles, that he was as devoted and loyal as any man could be. He will be sorely missed, and forever remembered. Services will be held on Tuesday 9/23/25, Funeral Services and burial will begin at 2 PM at Saint Mary’s Cemetery (North) in North St Paul, 2980 Helen Street, followed by a celebration of life and luncheon at nearby Cedric’s Landing, 5680 Hadley Ave North in Oakdale beginning at 3 PM.
