MUEHLECK, Anita Joan (Meyer) 86, passed away peace- fully at her residence at Westminster Suncoast on Saturday, August 30, 2025.

 

Anita was born on August 31, 1938 in Chicago Illinois to William and Anne Meyer.  She attended Trinity High School and then Alverno College in Milwaukee Wisconson where she earned a degree in chemistry.  Anita married Philip H. Muehleck in 1960.  After suffering enough Midwest winters in and around their Chicago area, the Muehlecks and their four children relocated to the sunnier climes of St. Petersburg Florida where Anita spent her last 52 years.

 

Anita is survived by a son, Michael P. Muehleck (Kesuda); a daughter, Clare M. Dunham; a daughter-in- law, Amy Muehleck; eight grandchildren, Zack, Alex, Katie, Matthew, Charlotte Muehleck; Haley, Jack, Tom Dunham; two sisters, Roberta and Charlotte Meyer; and a brother, William Meyer (Carol).  Anita is preceeded in death by her husband of 49 years, Phil; and sons, Gino Muehleck and Peter Muehleck.  A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, October 11, at 10 am.
