Mitchell J Krajewski, 97, of Sun City Center, Florida and formally of Suffield, Connecticut was called home by the Supreme Commander on September 15, 2025.
He was born in Enfield, Connecticut to his parents, Walter Krajewski and Eleanor Kowalski. A loving and devoted husband of 61 years he was predeceased by his wife Frances (Miloz).
Mitchell was a veteran serving honorably in both the US Navy and US Air Force. At the age of 17 he joined the Navy and served on the USS Los Angeles CA-135 which took him to the China Seas.
He held a 31 year career with Prudential where he achieved his CLU credential. Retiring in Florida he joined the Caloosa golf club and became an avid golfer. He was also known as a talented woodworker creating craftsman furniture pieces. He was proud that at the age of 97 he was never on any prescription medications. He was a self taught harmonica and piano player often playing them both at the same time.
He leaves behind two daughters Deborah Waskiel and Jeanne Dumas (Richard). He is predeceased by his sisters Helen Pienkos, Sophie Czernicki, brothers Walter, Chester, Edmond and Stanley and many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery for Veterans.
