Margaret Ann Hamilton, 85 of Irmo, SC, passed away on September 17, 2025. Born in London, England on September 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Arthur Miller and the late Florence Irene Harrison.
Margaret completed her schooling in London, and was working as a telegrapher, when she met her future husband, Duaine, who was stationed there, while serving in the United States Air Force. They married in 1957, and were married for 60 years, until his death in 2017.
Margaret is survived by her children: Deborah Simmons (Dan), Stephen Hamilton (Suzanne), Ann Senn (Kevin), and Amy Hamilton. She also had 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. Margaret is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Charles Duaine Hamilton, her son, Kevin, and her daughter, Heather.
Margaret's faith in Christ alone was of utmost importance in her life. She was a member of Covenant Free Presbyterian and enjoyed teaching ladies Bible studies in various locations around Columbia, SC for over 40 years.
