Jasalene "Jackie" Fox Covington

Jasalene “Jackie” Fox Covington, 80, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025. She was born in Mildred, Kentucky on June 21, 1945 to the late Alfred and Lillie Jane Murray Fox. Jasalene was a Clerk with the Scott County Clerk's office and a happily retired homemaker. A devout Christian, she was an active member of the Stamping Ground Women's Club, a member of Stamping Ground Baptist Church and served as the church secretary for several years.  She was actively attending King’s Daughters Apartments church services and their weekly Bible Studies. Jasalene enjoyed crafts, crochet, and was a talented seamstress, as well as a voracious reader.   

  

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Wanda Cassell; her son, Jimmie Clark Covington II; her siblings, Mary Lou Lamp, Burgin Fox, Marla Kiser, Alfred “Junior” Fox; her grandchildren, Emily Cassell, Paige Covington, Jacob Covington, and Audrey Covington; and her great granddaughter, Makenna Covington.  

  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jimmie Clark Covington; and her sister, Regina Fox.   

  

Jasalene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She brought light and love to our lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
