Thomas Mark Stewart, 76, passed into the presence of God on Sunday, September 7, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife Susan; children Seth (Marsha) and Abel (Lupina), stepchildren Michael Coates and Annie Pennington (John Scott); grandchildren Matt, Luke, Tim (Audrey), Pedro, and Elizabeth; and brothers John (Joy) and Roger (Dee). He was preceded in death by his parents Emory and Beth, brother David (Martha), and stepson David Pennington. Tom to his family of origin, and Mark to all who knew him later, was born in New Jersey and lived in Indiana, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, and finally, Arizona. But his heart was always in Texas! He was a pastor in various churches in Missouri, and later served as a hospital chaplain in Pittsburg, Kansas. He collected a variety of things that reminded him of family experiences. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Fitzhugh, Oklahoma, with interment in Roff, Oklahoma.
