Leslie Carr passed away on September 19, 2025. She was born on July 14, 1981.
Leslie is survived by 2 Daughters and a son (Mikayla, Alexis and Dominic), Parents, 3 sisters/2 brothers/Cousins/Aunts and Uncles/Brothers and Sister in Laws.
She believed in God and a quiet trust that God was there. Her journey with God was imperfect, like many of ours, but it was hers – and it mattered.
She attended most of her school years in Bend Oregon. During her Middle School and High School years she played on the school’s volleyball team, which she loved being a part of and truly enjoyed the friendship that she made, she moved to Eugene Oregon at the beginning of her Junior year where she graduated at Willamette High School a year early. She eventually found her way to Colorado Springs where she resided for about 25 years during which time she was married and had her 3 children. During this time, she also worked as a Title Assistant for around 14 years.
She loved anything to do with the outdoors (camping/hiking and going to the lake and her visits to Mexico which she absolutely loved). She had a soft spot for animals (there was no judgement and they just loved her for loving them).
Leslie was was proud of her children and her job.
Leslie was a radiant soul whose love for her family and friends was unwavering. She had a gift for making people laugh – her smile could light up any room, and her laugh was so full of joy and that’s how well always remember her.
Her favorite saying was "Exhale the past Inhale the future." She had a tattoo with this saying.
Exhale the past: releasing old pain, regrets, mistakes and memories that may be holding her back. Exhaling is about clearing space – emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Inhale the future: Breathe in hope, possibility, and new beginnings. It’s about welcoming what’s ahead with openness and courage, even if it’s uncertain.
We will all miss the laughter she brought into every room and her smile. That kind of presence leaves a space that can’t be filled. Her family and friends will feel her absence in the quiet moments, in the celebrations where her joy would have shined. Her passing will challenge us, but it will also remind us to hold each other closer, to laugh a little louder, and to carry her spirit forward in how we love one another.
