Adair Funeral Home - Dodge
Michael Widmer
December 1st, 1952 - September 20th, 2025
Michael Edwin Widmer, 72 years old, walked home with The Lord on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Missing his bright light, is his wife, Selma Widmer. His son, Christopher (grandsons, Kasey and Samuel) Widmer; His daughter, Erin (son in law, David) Schneider; His daughter, Sherri (son in law, James, grandchildren, Joseph, Aliydah) Wakefield, Grandsons, Eric (Tia, great granddaughter, Iloh) Craven, Jared (Erika, great grandsons, Dean and Damon) Craven; Sisters, Sheila (brother in law, Edward, nephew, Edward, nieces, Pamela and Kimberly) Wilkes; Sister, Marcia (brother in law David, nephews, William, Benjamin, Brian) Harriman; Sister, Jan (brother in law, James, nephews, Neil and Kurt) Price. Neice, Cassandra (nephew, Russell, great niece, Nicole, great nephew, Matthew) Buizon.
He is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus and in the loving arms of his father, Edwin and Doris Widmer; twin grandsons, James & Andrew Wakefield; great grand daughter, Davina Craven.
Mike was born in Phoenix, AZ. He raised his family in Marana/Tucson, AZ. He dedicated most of his life serving and protecting his country and community. He served the citizens of Tucson on the Tucson Police Dept for just over 25 years. Prior to his time in law enforcement, he served our country for a decade in the role of SP in the US Airforce. First stationed in the Philippines on Clark AFB, where he met his wife of 53 years, Mike also served at Lowry AFB in Colorado, and Edwards AFB in California.
He loved golf and the Denver Nuggets. He had a love/hate relationship with the Denver Broncos. He loved the Arizona sun, Honey Brandy, a good steak, and loved catching bad guys. He loved boats, the lake and muscle cars. Mike was one of God’s most loyal, fierce, protective, compassionate creatures and he walked among us. The lack of his blue eyes, gentle smile, sincere laugh and his heart on his sleeve is greatly missed and will never be forgotten. He lives on through his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all of his nephews and his nieces.
“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ - Matthew 25:21
Welcome home, Dad.
