Gerald B. Stevenson (Jerry) was born in Yakima, Washington on May 21, 1941 and passed on August 29, 2025 at the age of 84 in Steilacoom, Washington. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, educator, mentor, friend, and gentleman who was gifted with a great sense of humor. He was known for his "toasts" and encouraged to share one before meals.
Jerry was predeceased by his parents Barton and Kathryne Stevenson, and is survived by his wife, Patricia, son Doug (Suzette), daughter Shelley (Tom), grandchildren Trace, Hanah (Antonio), Declan (Kelli), Shannon, Mary (Jarett), great-grandchildren Ayden, Charlie, Travis, sisters Bette (Bill) and Kathy (Lin), and stepchildren Tammi (Steve), and Wade (Julie).
A celebration of his life will be held at the Environmental Services Building, 9805 64th St West, University Place, WA 98467 on Sunday, November 16, 2025, 2 - 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be sent to Shriner's Children's Hospital, 911 W 5th Avenue, Spokane, WA 99204 or to a charity of choice.
