Eric Anthony Griffin
August 15th, 1952 - September 23rd, 2025
Eric Anthony Griffin, 73, husband of Deborah Ramnes Griffin, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was born in Lexington, KY on August 15, 1952 to the late Roberta Brink and late Jay Griffin. Mr. Griffin worked for Thompson Hood Veterans Center as a maintenance technician.
Eric had a light about him that touched everyone he met. He never met a stranger, and his smile and kindness made all feel welcome. A lifelong Beatles fan and drummer, music was one of his greatest passions. Most of all, Eric’s faith in Christ guided his life, and he shared that love freely. He cherished his family deeply and was happiest when surrounded by them. Known affectionately as “Pappaw” and “EZE,” he was not only loving and loyal but also full of humor, keeping everyone laughing. His family and friends adored him, and his presence will forever be felt in the hearts of those who loved him. His laughter, his faith, and his love will stay with us always.
Besides his wife, Debby, those left to cherish his memory includes his son, Cody Anthony Griffin; bonus daughter, Amy (Aaron) Storner; bonus son, Chad (Emily) Storner; sisters, Rinda Griffin, Elizabeth Griffin, Ella Jean Martin; brother, Kevin Griffin; grandchildren, Quinton Anthony Storner, Peyton Piersawl; great grandchild, Tatum Storner; and several nieces and nephews.
At this time, no services are planned.
