Hazel Almeda Doxey, was born in Osceola, Nebraska, on May 30, 1939 to Elva and Vera Taylor. She attended school in Nebraska and came to Colorado Springs in 1952.  She married Harold Doxey in 1963 and had two daughters, Sherry and Debbie. Harold Doxey preceded her in death in 1969.

 

She is survived by two daughters, Sherry and Debbie, along with their spouses Kenneth and Craig; three brothers, Duane, Dan, and Darrel; sister, Sharon Gilchrist. She had four grandchildren, Joshua, Brittany, Ashley, and Chad; four great-grandchildren, Nate, Haylie, Lexi, and Lacey. 

 

She loved the Lord first and foremost and wanted her family to be ready to meet Jesus. 

 

She will be forever missed.
