Erwina, 85, of Aurora, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 12, 2025, surrounded by the love of her devoted husband, Jack.

Born in May 1940, Erwina was a proud Colorado native whose roots ran deep in the place she always called home. For more than 50 years, she poured her heart and soul into her work at the local radio station, where her dedication and warmth touched countless lives.

But more than her career, Erwina’s greatest joy was her family. She was the heartbeat of her home, always placing her loved ones at the center of her world. In her later years, nothing delighted her more than watching her great-grandchildren grow, learn, and discover the world. Their laughter brought her the deepest happiness, and she cherished every moment spent guiding and cheering them on.

Her faith was her anchor, sustaining her through life’s joys and trials. Those who knew Erwina will forever remember her boundless kindness, gentle spirit, and the way she welcomed everyone with open arms. She truly had no hate in her heart—only love, compassion, and acceptance for all.

Erwina leaves behind her beloved husband Jack, as well as Kari, Nycole, and Jay, who will carry forward her legacy of love. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Kim, her dear sister Barbara, and her sister-in-law Ruthie, with whom she now rests in eternal peace.

We celebrate Erwina’s life, grateful for the many ways she blessed ours, and we commit to honoring her memory by continuing to spread her legacy of kindness, faith, and unconditional love
