Richard Lewis Watson, 81, of Gilbert, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 in Chandler.
Mr. Watson, a retired Sorter for the United States Postal Service, was born on January 19, 1944 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Richard Lewis Watson and Janiece Faye (Jose) Watson.
He enjoyed going to the shooting range for competitions and fishing. He was handy with tools and worked hard to provide for his wife and children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Randy and he is survived by his wife, Irene Watson of Gilbert and his daughter, Janice Baker, son, Damian Watson and his siblings, Ronald Watson, Russell Watson, Roy Watson, Ramon Watson and Janice Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
