Beverly Sue (Spencer) Paxton was born on November 4, 1939, in Ainsworth, Nebraska, to William Morris Spencer and Hilda Avis Hamar, and left this earth peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at home.
On May 5, 1956, she was joined in marriage to Jimmie Melvin Paxton, and to this union was born their children: Stanley Gene, Sheila Sue (Jerry), and twins, Melody Jo and Milinda Avis (Matt). In 1960, Beverly and Jimmie moved to Watsonville, California, where they raised their children and lived for over 30 years.
In 1994, they returned to Gordon, Nebraska, and bought a farm to "retire." They renovated the entire farm property. Beverly loved the wide-open spaces of Nebraska and loved the farm.
In 2001, they moved to Caldwell, Idaho, to be close to their children and grandchildren. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and many beautiful great grandchildren.
Beverly loved the Lord and shared her faith with her family and anyone she could tell about Jesus' love for them.
She loved music, dancing, singing with her family, and painting pictures, mostly of her farmhouse in Nebraska.
Beverly was a little lady, and very feisty, and we all miss her so much.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband; son; grandson, Shawn Patrick; and four sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Caldwell. Services are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. (208) 459-0833
