Lilli Arends Roam
March 10th, 1928 - September 22nd, 2025
Born in Denmark, Lilli learned to juggle and tap dance, and then as a child survived Nazi occupation in World War II. Trained as a beautician, Lilli travelled the world while employed by Cunard Cruise Lines. On the ship she met her first husband, Stanley Goldstein, with whom she came to the United States and raised son Niels, who is married to Pariya. Lilli enjoyed watching Niels’ daughters, Emily and Nikki, blossom.Lilli worked in sales with Lord & Taylor in New York and with JC Penney in Florida. She was active with the Venice Florida Scandinavian Club, tap-danced and juggled in community theater productions, and had a joyful laugh.Lilli married Gary Roam in Venice, Florida, and loved being included with the families of his sons: Mike and Dainora, Karl and Frankie, Dan and Dushka. Lilli and Gary sailed and flew his planes for thirty years of adventures.Lilli passed away in Venice Florida and is dearly missed.
